Trademark Tangle: Roma Costume Sues Fendi and Marc Jacobs

Dispute involving brands belonging to LVMH ‼️

Fendi and Marc Jacobs 👗👜have been sued by Roma Costume – a clothing company based in California.🌴👙🎭

Roma Costumes Inc. filed a lawsuit 🧑🏻‍⚖️👩🏼‍⚖️👨🏽‍⚖️accusing LVMH brands 👠🥿👛 not only of trademark™️ infringement, but also unfair competition, all due to the logo™️used in a collection of ready-to-wear outfits and accessories designed in collaboration between Fendi and Marc Jacobs.💃👗

Roma Costumes Inc. therefore claims that its ROMA trademark™️ registration rights have been infringed by unauthorised copying of such a design, i.e. monochrome logo consisting of the white bold letters ROMA, where each letter consists of a black frame.
