Let’s dive into the history of Sephora, a cosmetics company owned by LVMH ! 📚💄

Sephora was founded in France in 1969 by Dominique Mandonnaud, and the first shop was opened in Paris. 🇫🇷🛍️

Just a few years later – in 1973 – in order to protect its position on the market, the company registered the word trade mark ‘SEPHORA’, making the brand recognisable! ™️📝✨

Subsequently, Sephora registered further trade marks – both in word and figurative form for goods in class 18, i.e. leather products, bags, purses and luggages, and services in classes 35 and 44 – these are mainly advertising and retail services, as well as hair care services, spa services and body art services. 🎒👜💼🛒💇‍♀️💆‍♀️🎨

This, among other things, is the effective protection of intellectual property rights that allows Sephora to remain a pioneer in the cosmetics industry!💪🔒
