You already know that the Union des Associations Européennes de Football (UEFA) ⚽ is not only known for its excellent organisation of sporting events 🏟️, but is also a role model in the area of intellectual property rights – including for industries that are not directly related to sport 🏭.

In UEFA’s Notice and Guidance on use of the EURO 2024 Marks, UEFA not only identified the trade marks and designs registered by the organisation in connection with the event 📝, but also reserved all worldwide commercial, promotional and intellectual property rights in relation to EURO 2024 🌍, with the aim of protecting against counterfeiting and ensuring that products and services under the EURO 2024 brand do in fact originate from UEFA or official EURO 2024 partners 🛡️.

Furthermore, UEFA has reserved the right to take action against anyone who infringes their intellectual property rights, as well as the terms and conditions of ticket sales 🎫.

Noteworthy is the fact that UEFA registers its trademarks for the EURO tournament, which takes place every 4 years, several years in advance to ensure the best possible protection of its IP rights! 👏
