Luxury Fashion Scandal: Dior and Armani Accused of Exploitative Labor Practices

A scandal in the world of luxury fashion brands! 😱

The Milan prosecutor’s office has accused two famous fashion brands, Dior and Giorgio Armani of using exploitative labour practices in the production of luxury handbags. 👜

As it turned out, workshops contracted to produce handbags and products from these brands produced luxury handbags paying migrant workers only between €2 and €3 per hour, while operating unprotected machinery to increase their productivity. 😓

Consequently, the cost of producing such Dior handbags was supposed to be $57, after which they sold it at a price of $2,780, and therefore charged up to 48 times the markup. 💰

As a result, legal action was taken against Dior and Armani, putting them under court administration. ⚖️
