Trademark Registration Funding 2024

If you are considering trademark registration, now is an opportune time. The current edition of a funding program offers an opportunity to secure a grant.

KBZ Trademark can assist you in obtaining funding for your trademark or design. The SME fund provides grants of up to 1.000 Euros and it represents 75% of the official costs of the trade mark application.

Who can apply?

All Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) established in the EU are eligible to apply for a grant with annual turnover of no more than €50 million and less than 250 employees. Eligibility for the grant is limited to registered companies or sole proprietorships. Individual applicants are not eligible for consideration.

If you meet these conditions, we can certainly assist you with the grant process!

Here’s how it works:

  1. You provide us with the necessary documents for funding (see below).
  2. We apply for the fund on your behalf.
  3. Approximately 2 weeks later, the decision on the grant is issued by the EUIPO.
  4. Once the decision is issued, we will take responsibility for preparing and processing the trademark application procedure.
  5. Before receiving the funding, it is necessary to pay the full official fee to the Office.
  6. Once the EUIPO acknowledges that the remittance has been received, the funding will be sent to your bank account within one week.

We have a 100% success rate in fund applications.

What is needed to apply for funding:

The EUIPO requires three essential documents from your company to evaluate the application:

  1. Bank Statement: The grant will be disbursed directly into the applicant’s bank account subsequent to the application process. We will need a copy of the bank document showing the bank name, company name and account number.
  2. VAT Certificate: This document can typically be obtained by printing it from the official website of the local tax authority in most jurisdictions.
  3. Power of Attorney: A power of attorney, issued by the applicant, is mandatory for any representative acting on behalf of the company as per the EUIPO’s requirements.

Once the application has been successful, we will submit a ready-made application for trade mark registration to EUIPO and send you the details for the transfer to EUIPO.
